The city of Dnepropetrovsk is the third largest city in Ukraine. It is situated on the river Dnepr in the Central part of Ukraine. Its population is about 1.2 million. Large and it is a beautiful city, it is the main city of Central-East Ukraine. Dnepropetrovsk, simply Dnepr, as it is called by local inhabitants, is a dynamic and alive city. The collections of Museum of Art comprises more than seven thousand exhibits including works by eminent European, Russian and Ukrainian painters. By its layout and architecture Dnepropetrovsk is not inferior to the best European cities as it was planned and built by several generations of talented architects and town-builders. .
